'The Capture of Damiate' by C.C. van Wieringen is important to the city of Haarlem. It depicts a crusade scene from the 13th century, where Dutch ships allegedly broke through a chain that had been stretched over the Nile river. Abbie treated the painting in 2009-2010, and made several presentations and articles about the restoration process.
